Siobhan Evelyn Swart was born in Bloemfontein in 1998. She moved around the country quite often in her youth with her mother and proceeded to start studying Fine Arts at the University of the Free State. Graduating in 2021, Siobhan continues to work with concepts regarding nature, the peculiar, fantasy and taboo topics in her drawing, print-making and photographic mediums. Along with this, Swart investigates the issues of mental health, escapism and themes of existential matters.
